Be a master of desires and live life as a king, says Vedanta Vision founder Jaya Row
Chronic stress in everyday situations can be harmful to one's health and psyche, Vedanta Vision founder Jaya Row said on 4th July at M. C Ghia Hall, first meeting of Rotary miracle year. It was a joint meeting of four Rotary clubs. Rotary club of Mumbai Cuffe Parade, Rc Sealand Downtown, Rc Bombay Mandvi, RCof Hanging garden.
Stress can go from being the elephant in the room to the monkey off your back, she said while unveiling some seemingly simple tricks, preached by sages and yogis, to live a happy and a peaceful life.
Row urged the participants to be the master of their desires and live life kingsize. According to her, each and every individual should consciously recognise and reject evil forces like desire and lust.
An eloquent speaker, Row said, "Mental agitation created by unfulfilled desire is stress. Reduce desire by improving the quality of your desire and live a life to build merit and worth in life."
"You want your kids to be Einstein but don't forget they have your genes. Don't drive them bananas," she added.
