Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham

Hello friends

Greetings for the festivals !!

As all we know the month of August brings the festive mood with it.
Shravan, Independence Day, Eid... And now September,  Naag pancham, Sheetla satam, Krishna Ashtami.... The list of festivals take off and goes till November, till Diwali comes.

Every festivals signify some or the other duties to mankind. Needless to say Religions and Science walks hands in hands. Its a different story that we don't bother to understand the ideology, the secret behind it. With our myopic vision we don't acknowledge the significance of any festivals.

The reason is changing time.
Everything changes with time. Then why not way of celebration?

This time we have planned the celebration of our Independence Day differently.
For that We had planned Blood donation camp with the association of Western Railway Motormen association and Nair Hospital.

Ofcourse, it was a collective efforts of four clubs. In Six hours time we could collect 78 bottles. Certainly, not a bad score it is.

Secondly, we did Mega awareness camp for RUBELLA and THALASSEMIA. More than 10 clubs co hosted it. Doctors from H. N. Reliance Hospital shared detailed information about it. This was just a first phase. Second phase will be with the actual vaccination in slums and public schools.
We had a fruitful visit for Paediatric heart surgery too.

A most informative and interesting programme was Rotary ki Pathshala, where RCMPC was one of the hosts. Very interesting programme for new as well seasoned Rotarian.

The month was fulfilling with the activities but sad news also there on list.

We lost our beloved past president Rtn. Namrata Agrawal. A brave heart lady fought tooth and nail with cancer till end.

RCMCP is feeling deep loss with her sad demise. In her memory RCMCP held one special meeting, where  more than eight  co Presidents including PDG Gopal Mandhania and his wife Ave chair Rajendra Agarwal came for it . Mostly all the co Presidents cherished fond memories. On this occasion, entire Agrawal family was present.

May god gives her soul eternal peace and strength to family to bear this irreparable loss.

And now time is to look forward for 'come September'.
One more new months, new projects, new missions and new us...

Everyday comes with new beginning. Lets gear up....

One for the road :

सैर कीख़ूब फिरेफूल चुनेशाद रहे
बाग़बां जाते हैं गुलशन तेरा आबाद रहे
शाद = Happy,  Delightful
( In PP Rtn. Namrata Agrawal 's fond memory)
